Russell W. Hughes Endowed Memorial Scholarship

91视频 scholarships are dependent upon availability of funds and may not be awarded every year.

A completed  application is required for all types of financial aid awarded at 91视频 including scholarships. You must complete a FAFSA application even if you do not believe that you are eligible for grant programs.

Russell W. Hughes Endowed Memorial Scholarship

One scholarship is available for the academic year.  
Scholarship is renewable for one year, provided a 2.5 GPA is maintained.

Criteria

1. Entering freshman, current-year high school graduate
2. Full-time student
3. High school cumulative GPA of 2.5
4. Any major-91视频 Macon Cove  campus only
5. Attained leadership positions in high school; i.e., officer in the student government association or in clubs or organizations; edited the yearbook,  newspaper or other comparable publication
6. Renewable after one year, provided the student attained leadership positions at 91视频 as verified by the Dean of  Student  Activities
7. Maintained a 2.5 GPA during the first year at 91视频

Procedure

Submit to 91视频 Financial Aid Office by February 15.

Selection Process

91视频 Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to two, whose names are forwarded to the Hughes family for selection of the recipient.
