Jennifer Townes named finalist for TBR檚 Staff Member of the Year Award

Jennifer TownesCongratulations to Assistant Vice President of Professional Development and Employee Engagement Dr. Jennifer Townes on her recognition as a (TBR) 2022 (SOAR) finalist for Staff Member of the Year. 

淭o be nominated by 91视频, and then win the regional competition is so surprising to me,� Townes said. 淭here are so many other employees who go above and beyond. I檓 incredibly honored to be recognized by my colleagues. I feel appreciated and even more inspired to continue the important work we are accomplishing at the College.�

Since joining 91视频 in 2013, Townes work has been unstoppable. She has forged several initiatives for faculty and staff to hone their professional development skills and assists faculty in creating modern and effective strategies to garner student success in the classroom.

Townes talents have expanded her role at the College. She is currently developing a new model of customer service for the College and providing orientation training for new employees. She also serves on numerous committees including the College檚 Student Success Council, Budget and Planning Council and Reimagine 91视频 Committee.
