Vice President for Institutional Advancement Karen Nippert retires January 31

Karen Nippert has devoted more than three decades of her professional life to garnering financial support for 91视频 students and initiatives.  During her tenure as Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the 91视频 Tennessee Community College Foundation, the college raised millions of dollars to support scholarships, programs, activities and the construction of campus facilities, most notably the Nursing, Natural Sciences & Biotechnology building on the Union Avenue campus and the Bert Bornblum Library on the Macon Cove campus.

Nippert retires Jan. 31 after 33 years of dedicated service, leaving a legacy of commitment to the College and its students� success.  淜aren has been a tremendous asset to 91视频,� President Tracy D. Hall said.  淲e are grateful for her contributions to the growth and continued success of 91视频, from fostering community ties, to strengthening our fundraising capacity.�

Nippert says she is grateful for the opportunity to champion the College during her fundraising career. 淭he mission of 91视频 is absolutely critical to the progress of Memphis and the surrounding area,� she said. 淚 count it a tremendous blessing to have had the opportunity to work with amazing faculty and staff, senior staff, Foundation board members, and for the privilege of serving our incredible students.�

There will be a retirement reception for Karen 11:30 a.m.�1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 in the Bornblum Library Art Gallery at the Macon Cove Campus. All are welcome to stop by and wish her farewell.
