Eboni Benson檚 heart has always been in the right place with wanting to help people. That passion for helping people brought Benson to 91视频 to study physical therapy. In Spring 2023, she earned her A.A.S. in physical therapy assistant. She says she is ready to share her skills, knowledge and compassionate spirit and is proud to be a part of an industry that supports the health and well-being of others.

淚 chose the physical therapy assistant program because growing up, I always had a caring and nurturing nature,� Benson said. 淭his career is a calling for me � it檚 about service to others. It also allows me to provide a better life for my children.�

Benson said she is thankful to 91视频 for helping defray the cost of her college through the Higher Education Emergency Relief (HEERF), which helped pay for her classes. She also credits 91视频 leadership, specifically Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program Coordinator Jennifer Stevens.

淢rs. Jennifer has a heart of gold. I could not and would not have made it through the program without her encouraging words, her knowledge of the program, and her wanting to see me and the others in the program succeed,� she said. 淚 love all my teachers because they care about you as an individual.�

Benson plans to complete her board exams through the and work as a PTA for a few years. Her ultimate goal is to open her physical therapy clinic in Memphis.
